Hey y’all! Welcome to Smorgasbord of Sisterhood (SoS). We are Donna and Karla, cousins from Georgia, living life with faith, family and laughter. Over fifty years, we have prayed, prayed, prayed, loved with no limits, cried many tears, and laughed until we’ve almost peed our pants. Having known each other for our entire lives, we have many stories to tell. We have also created a unique bond that has held us together in the storms of life. Get to know Donna. We would like to welcome you to our website, Smorgasbord of Sisterhood.  Smorgasbord you ask? Well, we do like to eat, but we are referring to the wide variety of stories you will find here. Like a family reunion with dinner on the grounds, the variety is plentiful. Some stories will be from our past; others will be current. You will read adventures that make you laugh as well as events that make you cry. Some stories will show how we wouldn’t have survived without laughter, family, and FAITH. 

Our blogs are quick, easy reads that focus on everyday life and events. You may read about something as simple as oatmeal or as major as the death of a loved one. We often draw from our rich, southern heritage and ancestry that influenced who we are today. 

These three are our mainstays.  Even when you are at a place in life when you can’t laugh, or your relationship with your family isn’t possible, faith is always a choice!  Faith in God can offer you a map with a destination beyond your comprehension.
